If you’re looking for your local Anglican church then here’s a little low-down on some of the city centre churches that may be near you.  For a fuller list of churches check out www.llandaff.org.uk.

St Andrew’s and St Teilo’s Church, on the corner of Woodville Road & Flora Street is in the heart of student land in Cathays and is committed to worship of God in the Liberal catholic tradition and the promotion of the Arts throughout South Wales. There is a Sung Eucharist at 11.15 am – just what the student ordered!

It has had a long-standing relationship with students, especially those from the Welsh College of Music and Drama. The Church choir is composed mainly of students of all ages, and of graduates of Cardiff University who have sung with the choir since they were students and have remained in Cardiff. Its repertoire is mainly sacred and includes anthems, canticles, psalms and hymns.

The parish priest is The Revd Caroline Downs.
